Harvard University - Cambridge, MA

Harvard University Dining Services operates residential student dining units in twelve distinct houses, many of which are rich in historical context and date back to the 1930’s, as well as multiple retail units and a comprehensive catering program that will service any building on the campus. The Hysen Group developed master plan recommendations for the renovation of each house-based food service unit to increase economic efficiency and improve food quality to students and other customers. Additional services provided by The Hysen Group include strategic plan development, capital planning and equipment design and engineering for the first two of twelve house renovations - the Eliot House and the Kirkland House - as well as enhancements to a central production kitchen previously developed in the basement of one of the units.
